Travel Grants for US-residing Students
Thanks to the generous support from the U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, Biological and Environmental Engineering, and the National Science Foundation, Plant Genome Research Program, the organizers of the 2nd Pan-American Congress on Plants and Bioenergy are offering travel grants to cover full registration and on-site charges for US-residing students, post-doctorals, and faculty beginning their careers to attend this international congress. Applicants must currently reside at US institutions. Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted until July 25, 2010. To qualify for receipt of the travel stipend, applicants must complete registration and housing payments, submit an abstract for a poster presentation as well as for consideration for selection as an oral presentation.
