The Brazilian scientific community is proud to receive some of the top researchers in the American continent to discuss the science and technologies that can improve our use of renewable energy from plants.
After the first meeting in Merida in 2007, we decided to make this meeting a Panamerican tradition and committed to have PCPB every two years, every time in a different country in the continent.
This time you will be at Sao Pedro, near Piracicaba in the State of Sao Paulo, the largest center or production of sugarcane and bioethanol in Brazil, being responsible for one quarter of the ethanol produced in the world.
Besides hearing talks from some of the top scientists in the field from the Americas and Europe, we will round out our program with talks selected from the abstracts.
We hope to see you in São Pedro to participate in this exciting, actual and extremely important meeting, that is supported by the Society of Botany of São Paulo (SBSP) and the American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB).
